Bharti Airtel has launched 4G services in Patiala in the Punjab circle. The operator is already offering these services in Chandigarh, Mohali, Panchkula, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Amritsar, Hoshiarpur, Phagwara and Kapurthala.
Customers with 4G-compatible mobile handsets such as iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, Xolo LT 900, LG G2 (model D802T), LG F70, OPPO Find 7 and OPPO Find 7a, can directly avail 4G services by upgrading their existing SIM cards to a universal SIM or a 4G SIM. 4G services will also be available on Airtel 4G dongle, Wi-Fi customer premise equipment.
Special packs of Rs 999 for postpaid mobiles, dongles and CPEs, and Rs 995 for prepaid mobiles will offer 10 GB of 4G data to users. For postpaid mobile customers, the plans will start from Rs 100.
Further, the operator has installed special demo zones and kiosks in select Airtel Store at Patiala to introduce its customers to 4G and its high speed internet capability.
