Bharti Airtel has launched 4G services in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
This move was enabled by the recent commissioning of the Chennai and Andaman and Nicobar Islands submarine optical fibre cable project by the government of India.
The telco has been serving customers in Andaman and Nicobar since 2005 and was the first private operator to launch mobile services in the islands.
