Bharti Airtel is likely to invest close to Rs 6 billion during 2008-09 to expand its network in West Bengal. It is looking to set up close to 2,000 cell sites this fiscal year in addition to the 4,000 sites it has in the state. The company is also planning to increase its branded outlets by about 30 per cent this fiscal year, from the 100 it now has.
