Airtel has launched 3G Wi-Fi Dongle in the Delhi circle to enable the customers create personal hotspots by connecting the dongle to any USB port. The device uses HSPA+ technology to provide downloading speed of up to 21.6 Mpbs. The service enables users to connect the dongle to a maximum of five devices (mobile, tablet, laptop) simultaneously.
The dongle is available in major retail stores and Airtel outlets in the circle and comes with data benefits and cash back offers to incentivise the customers.
Airtel had recently launched the 3G Wi-Fi dongles in Mumbai, Chennai, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh. Further, the company plans to extend the 3G dongle services throughout the country.
