Bharti Airtel increases the tariffs for its 1 GB 2G data plan by 25 per cent -

Bharti Airtel has increased the tariff for its 1 GB 2G data plan by 25 per cent.

Prior to this, customers had to pay Rs 100 for 1 GB of data usage. As per the revised tariff, subscribers can avail of 1 GB of data usage for Rs 125.

As per the company, this tariff revision is subject to “rate elasticity, customer demand and supporting cost structures.” Bharti Airtel has increased 2G data tariffs with the aim of covering costs and increasing margins.
