Bharti Airtel has signed a $2 billion network outsourcing contract with Ericsson. Under the two-year supply and services contract, Ericsson will plan, design, deploy, optimise and manage Bharti’s GSM network across 15 circles in India. In addition, Ericsson will deliver pan-Indian integrated device management solutions, enabling usage of advanced data services by Bharti’s mobile customers across the retail and enterprise segments.
