
Bharti Airtel has entered into a partnership with Novatium, a cloud computing service provider, to expand its broadband network in the country. According to the agreement, Novatium will offer its cloud computing service, “Airtel Net PC”, to Airtel’s broadband customers. Initially, the service will be provided in 11 cities over six months, beginning with Chennai, and will target the middle-income group. This service will be launched under three plans –? Airtel Net PC Plus Plan A, which will be available at a one-time cost of Rs 4,999 including the Nova Navigator device; Net PC Plus Plan B at Rs 8,999, which includes a 15 inch LCD monitor; and a bundled offer of Net PC along with a 169 GB hard disk drive priced atRs 10,999. Novatium has also tied up with BSNL for offering a similar service.
