Following the launch of 4G services in Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula in the Punjab circle, Bharti Airtel has extended its 4G services in Ludhiana.
Subscribers in Ludhiana can access 4G services over dongles, mobile devices and Wi-Fi routers or through customer premise equipment (CPE).
Bharti Airtel subscribers using iPhone 5S or iPhone 5C can avail of 4G services by upgrading to a universal SIM i.e. 4G SIM card. In addition, the customers can get this service on Airtel dongles, Wi-Fi CPE and 4G compatible handsets including Xolo LT 900 and LG G2 (model D802T).
Further, universal SIM card comes free with the purchase of dongle or CPE, while mobile users have to pay Rs 49 for the SIM card. The operator has priced 4G dongle at Rs 1,500, and the CPE is priced at Rs 2,500.
Bharti Airtel has also introduced a special data packages for its post-paid mobile, dongle and CPE users and prepaid subscribers priced at Rs 999 and Rs 995, respectively. Users availing these data plans can avail of 10 GB of 4G data usage for a period of one month.
