Bharti Airtel has appointed Shivan Bhargava as managing director for its operations in Kenya. Prior to this, Bhargava served as the chief operating officer in this region.
As managing director, he will be responsible for meeting Bharti Airtel?s business targets in Kenya. In so far, he has worked with Bharti Airtel since 2003, in various capacities. He has also worked with Coca Cola.
He brings to the table prior work experience in the technical and marketing fields. He has an engineering degree specialising in telecommunications and a post graduate degree in business management, specialising in marketing.
