Bharti Airtel has appointed Yahoo?s senior director of global search products, Anand Chandrasekaran, as the company?s chief product officer.
Chandrasekaran will lead product conceptualisation, design and development across the consumer business segment of the company. He will report to Srinivasan Gopalan, head, consumer business, Bharti Airtel.
Chandrasekaran has led the product development, mobile revenues, consumer internet, search, maps, local and big data verticals across various Fortune 500 companies.
