Bharti Airtel has announced revised tariffs of its existing plans, effective from July 3, 2024.
According to the telco, the mobile average revenue per user (ARPU) needs to be more than Rs 300, to enable a financially healthy business model for telcos in India. This level of ARPU will enable the substantial investments required in network technology and spectrum and offer a modest return on capital.
The telco mentioned that it has ensured that there is a very modest price increase (less than 70 paise per day) on the entry level plans, to eliminate any burden on budget challenged consumers.
Further, these prices apply to all circles, including Bharti Hexacom Limited circles. Furthermore, all customers on 2 GB per day and above plans can enjoy unlimited 5G data.
