Axiata Investments 2 (India) Limited raises its stake in Idea Cellular to 5.91 per cent

In a filing to the Bombay Stock exchange, Idea Cellular has said that Axiata Investments 2 (India) Limited has raised its stake in the company to 5.91 per cent.

Axiata has acquired 2,97,76,341 additional shares worth Rs 3.06 billion through open market transactions.

Prior to this, Axiata held a 5.01 per cent stake in the company.
