Avaya has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Amy O’Keefe as the chief financial officer (CFO), Omar Javaid as the chief product officer (CPO) and Josh Mueller as the chief marketing officer (CMO). These executives will report to Alan Masarek, chief executive officer (CEO) of Avaya.
Keefe comes with 30 years of experience and served as CFO for WW International prior to the current appointment. She has also worked as CFO for Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare, Savant Systems, D&M Holdings and divisional CFO a Black & Decker.
Meanwhile, Javaid, who joined the company as CPO, will lead product strategy and management and strategic alliances and technology partners. He also worked as SVP and general manager at Qualcomm and was the president of Nexmo API platform unit and CPO at Vonage. He has also been in leadership roles a TiVo, Google, Motorola and Hewlett-Packard.
Mueller, on the other hand, will serve as CMO and GM of Hardware. He will oversee worldwide marketing activities and Avaya’s hardware business which will include supply chain, procurement and devices. He has worked at National Instruments, Vonage and Dun and Bradstreet, also holding marketing leadership roles at Dell Technologies.
