Avaya has expanded its Asia Pacific leadership team. Ray Teske will assume leadership of the company’s service provider and global alliances business across Asia Pacific, working predominantly with operators to market cloud-based communication capabilities and solutions for businesses across the region.

Teske brings to the table over 20 years of experience in the communications industry in enterprise, service provider and channel focused roles and was most recently the managing director for Avaya’s ASEAN business.

Lee Chong-Win is the new managing director, ASEAN for Avaya. Lee will be responsible for continuing to drive growth in this market, with a focus on Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines and Vietnam while growing Avaya’s business and presence in Cambodia, Myanmar and Laos. Lee most recently led the company’s customer experience management business, focused on delivering contact center solutions to a diverse range of customers across the region.

Prior to this, Lee has worked with Nortel, EMC and Periphonics, spanning the sales, professional services and engineering functions.

These appointments are effective immediately. Teske and Lee continue to be based in Bangkok and Singapore respectively.
