Avantel has announced an investment of Rs 560 million to establish a new facility in Hyderabad dedicated to the design, development, and manufacturing of software-defined radios (SDRs), radar systems, and satellite integration.
Spread across 76,000 square feet, the facility will support the assembly, integration, and testing (AIT) of satellites and enable the company to offer ground station-as-a-service (GSaaS) for satellite data reception.
According to Avantel, the new facility is expected to generate over 300 direct jobs and more than 1,000 indirect employment opportunities.
