Asus has launched the Asus PadFone mini, a smartphone-tablet hybrid in India for a price of Rs 15,999. The dual-SIM smartphone has 4-inch WVGA IPS+ display, while the tablet dock on which it is built has a 7-inch WXGA IPS+ display. It is powered by a 1.6 GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2560 processor and runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with Asus? Zen user interface. The PadFone mini has 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage, which is further expandable up to 64 GB through a microSD card.

It features an 8 megapixel primary camera with an aperture of f/2.0 along with a 2 megapixel front-facing camera. It offers connectivity options like GPRS/ EDGE, HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, and Micro-USB. While the smartphone has a battery size of 1170 mAh, the tablet dock supports a battery capacity of 2100 mAh.
