Apple has rolled out a beta update for select iPhone users in India in order to collect early feedback about the network’s efficiency.

The company is planning to launch a 5G service software update by December this year.

The 5G services have been rolled out with the iOS 16.2 beta update on iPhone 14, iPhone 13, iPhone 12 and iPhone SE(3). The Apple 5G beta is open to anyone in the country who has a valid Apple ID and accepts the agreement while signing-up.

Apple has reportedly advised users to install the beta update on a spare iPhone rather on a primary iPhone.
