Apple has decided to close all its retail stores worldwide except in Greater China until March 27, 2020.

The move has been undertaken in a bid to curb the spread of Covid-19.

Apple has about 500 stores in 24 countries around the world.

However, this does not apply to its stores in India, as Apple does not own any retail stores here. Instead, the company sells through Apple premium resellers (APR), who are third parties with their own rules.

Meanwhile, the company also announced that its yearly developer conference, the Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) will be an online-only event.
