Apple has announced results for the quarter ended (QE) December 2019. The handset manufacturer reported $91.8 billion in revenue during the period under consideration, recording a year on year (YoY) increase of 9 per cent. This is believed to be Apple’s highest ever recorded quarterly revenues.

As far its iPhone sales are concerned, Apple earned revenue of $56 billion during QE December 2019, recording a YoY increase of 8 per cent. This growth has been attributed to strong performance delivered by iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max. In fact, iPhone 11 was the top-selling model every week during the December quarter.

Meanwhile, Mac and iPad generated $7.2 billion and $6 billion in revenue respectively.

In India too Apple reported double-digit growth during the period under consideration. Further, Apple has also started focussing on the Indian market with special pricing, promotions and e-commerce push.
