Apple’s online store has gone live in India, offering users a host of products and services. This includes services like trading old phones for a new iPhone and provision of support and premium experience to consumers across the country.
Further, the online store enables users to custom-configure any Mac with just a few clicks.
In addition, the Apple Store Online offers a range of financing options and trade-in programmes. Students can shop for a Mac or iPad with special pricing, and receive discounts on accessories and Apple Care+ that extends warranty with up to two years of technical support and accidental damage cover.
At present, Apple uses its third-party reseller outlets and online channels to sell its devices in the country. That said, having its own branded online store will certainly help the company in giving a controlled experience of its devices and services.
For logistics support, Apple has partnered with Blue Dart to be its on-ground fulfillment partner.
