Mobile TV service provider Apalya Technologies has an­n­o­un­ced the appointment of Deepa Gupta Kulshrestha as VP and head of sales, and Bharat Prem as VP, global sales. While Kulshrestha will lead business development and set a strategic direction for sales, Prem will drive global sales of the myplex over-the-top platform in the telco/broadcast/pay TV sections. Prior to joining Apalya, Kulshrestha headed the media vertical at Ericsson. She has also been associated with Redback, UTStarcom and Nokia in the past. Prem too has extensive experience in the media and broadcast industry, and has worked with France Telecom and Ericsson in the past.
