As the chairman and founder of the Space World Group, Ankit Goel spearheads the company’s strategy planning, ensuring the realisation of its long-term goals and objectives. Over the years, his passion for innovation and relentless pursuit of growth have been instrumental in expanding the organisation across diverse sectors, while maintaining a strong focus on stakeholder engagement and informed decision-making.
Goel’s entrepreneurial journey began in 2007 with the establishment of Space Telelink Limited. Over the years, the Space World Group has grown into a dynamic conglomerate with business interests spanning digital infrastructure-as-a-service (Constl), optical fibre infrastructure (RANext), metal fabrication (Space Telelink Limited) and chemical manufacturing (Rymbal). Under his leadership, the organisation is committed to transforming India’s digital infrastructure landscape.
In the rapidly evolving telecom industry, Goel identifies several key trends, including the increasing demand for durable and compact enclosures and towers, driven by the expansion of 5G networks. He highlights the growing need for modular designs, rugged outdoor equipment and smart network solutions aligned with sustainability goals. Despite challenges such as fluctuating raw material costs, supply chain disruptions and the fast pace of technological advancements, he sees these hurdles as opportunities for innovation.
Reflecting on his most memorable assignment, he recalls, “One of my most memorable projects was the design, fabrication and delivery of telecom enclosures, outdoor cabinets and base station towers to support the nationwide expansion of 4G and 5G networks for a marquee client. The project involved delivering weather-resistant cabinets and enclosures to secure critical telecom equipment.”
Goel believes in staying ahead of the curve, identifying futuristic opportunities and motivating others with a forward-thinking approach. His leadership style emphasises fostering a balanced work culture, encouraging employee growth through autonomy and driving innovation with a customer-centric focus.
Beyond his professional endeavours, Goel is dedicated to giving back to society, collaborating with organisations to support causes close to his heart.
Goel holds a BTech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Kurukshetra University. Being a fitness enthusiast, he enjoys morning workouts and biking in his leisure time. He also values quality family moments, from shopping for his daughters and playing indoor games to dropping them off at school.
