Ankit Dixit, Founder & CEO, Tidal Wave Technologies

Ankit Dixit is the founder and chief executive officer of Tidal Wave Technologies, an indigenous telecom OEM focused on delivering private 5G solutions tailored for industrial environments. With a career spanning over a decade at the intersection of telecom and digital transformation across organisations such as Telenor and Accenture, he brings deep expertise in designing and scaling mission-critical connectivity infrastructure.

Driven by the belief that India’s transition to Industry 4.0 must be enabled by secure, agile and home-grown engineered wireless networks, Dixit established Tidal Wave to bridge the gap between high-spec technology and real-world applications. Today, the company is delivering measurable impact across mining sites, heavy industries, manufacturing plants, ports and defence installations – places where traditional networks fall short and reliability is non-negotiable.

A systems thinker by nature, he is known for building high-performing teams capable of delivering in unpredictable, high-stakes environments. His management style is outcome-driven and collaborative, emphasising accountability, transparency and the sense of urgency balanced with an OEM’s discipline.

While Dixit admits to a hands-on approach – especially during critical projects – he is committed to empowering others as the company scales. His strengths lie in building resilient teams and solving complex problems under pressure, though he openly acknowledges the challenge of delegation as the organisation scales.

A strong advocate of Make in India, he sees spectrum liberalisation, AI-native networks and edge computing as catalysts that will empower Indian OEMs to play a global role. “The telecom sector is rapidly converging with industrial automation. We foresee massive demand for private wireless networks as enterprises seek secure, low-latency and high-reliability communication, especially in mining, logistics, power and manufacturing. AI-native networks and edge computing will become central, as real-time decision-making at the edge gains traction,” he notes. He also believes that the shift from consumer-centric networks to enterprise-grade infrastructure is the future.

Dixit is an electronics and communications engineer by education from University of Mumbai. Beyond work, he enjoys watching documentaries and biographies, spending time with family, and mentoring young entrepreneurs working in high-impact sectors. A strong believer in lifelong learning, he credits his close-knit family for instilling values of education, discipline and service – qualities that continue to shape his leadership journey.
