The appointments committee of the cabinet (ACC) has appointed Anita Praveen as the additional secretary in the Department of Telecommunications (DoT).
Praveen is an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the 1989 batch Tamil Nadu cadre.
At present, Praveen has been working as an additional secretary and finance advisor in the Department of Posts.
Previously, she has served in the Department of Commerce as a joint secretary.
