In continuation of the 2G spectrum case, Ashish Tambawala, senior executive vice president of Reliance Infrastructure Limited appeared before special CBI judge O.P. Saini.
Tambawala informed the court that Anil Ambani, chairman, Reliance ADA Group, never held the position of director, Swan Telecom and Tiger Traders.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), in its charge sheet pertaining to the 2G case, had alleged that Tiger Traders and Swan Telecom were associate companies of Reliance ADA Group.
Elaborating his argument, Tambawala said that the Reliance ADA Group comprised several entities, each with its own chairman. He added that he had acted as the authorised signatory of 150 to 200 firms.
