The chief minister of Andhra Pradesh has described the state as the most attractive destination for semiconductor manufacturing and invited global industry leaders to visit within the next 30 days to explore its investor-friendly policies and opportunities. The chief minister highlighted the state’s commitment to its speed of doing business model, aimed at enabling faster approvals, efficient governance and seamless growth for investors.

He said India is currently one of the safest and most promising destinations for global investment, with Andhra Pradesh standing out as a particularly favourable location. He emphasised the state’s proactive industrial policies and strong infrastructure development, and said the time is right to invest.

The chief minister noted that Andhra Pradesh offers significant opportunities across the semiconductor value chain and revealed that a semiconductor manufacturing facility is set to be established in the Rayalaseema region. He also highlighted Rayalaseema’s potential as a hub for advanced manufacturing industries, including defence production, aerospace, electronics, fighter aircraft components and automobile manufacturing.
