Anand Vohra, chief executive officer (CEO) and managing director (MD) of Gionee India, has resigned from his position after a term of five years. Vohra, who has been associated with the company since the beginning of its India operations, will continue as executive director, but will not be in charge of daily operations. The company is expected to soon announce a re­p­­­­­l­a­cement, most likely a senior official from its China operations.
