Ananant Systems is working with major telecom original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to locally develop chips for the proposed rollout of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited’s (BSNL) 5G network.

According to the company, it is looking to address the expanding requirements for advanced connectivity, computing, and security for wireless 5G and 6G infrastructure and devices. Its offerings include intellectual property (IP), chip design, semiconductor products, software, and systems, all developed and owned in India.

Meanwhile, advanced 5G and 6G will be just a software upgrade without the need for change in hardware.

Furthermore, the company’s alignment with local partners, including its recent membership with the India Electronics and Semiconductor Association (IESA), aims to place India as a leader in the global wireless technology landscape while fostering self-reliance.
