Amitabh Jaipuria, president and head, mobility business, RJIL, has stepped down ahead of the much-awaited 4G service launch by the operator. Jaipuria joined RJIL as head, wireline business, two years ago. Later, he was given charge of the mobility business as well as the responsibility to oversee functions such as customer acquisitions, usage and retention, and the Wi-Fi and enterprise businesses. Prior to RJIL, Jaipuria was associated with the Indian unit of US-based agriculture company Monsanto.
