Smartron has appointed Amit Boni as vice-president, sales and marketing. He was previously heading Motorola’s operations in India. At Smartron, he will be responsible for overall brand building, besides heading the sales and marketing functions. Smartron, an Indian IoT start-up that was founded in 2014, is likely to launch a mobile phone series in the coming months.
