The solution, which has already been deployed and achieving strong results, is part of a strategic multi-year agreement to enable Metro PCS to enhance and optimize its customers? electronic payment options, while reducing the operational costs associated with customer payments.
Metro PCS is using Amdocs Enterprise Payment Processing solution, a multi-channel payment gateway service, to offer its customers electronic payment options across all channels including Interactive Voice Response (IVR), web portal, SMS or through an agent in the contact center. The solution also enables ?smart tender steering? which processes payments using the most cost-effective transactional method to minimize transaction fees and maximize revenue. The private cloud-based solution is run from an Amdocs managed services data center and interfaces with multiple banks and other financial institutions, as well as contact center services.
