Amber Group has entered into a manufacturing partnership with Oppo India, marking its expansion beyond consumer durables and electronics manufacturing services into a new business segment.

In a regulatory filing, Amber said the collaboration with Oppo India, which manufactures devices for brands such as Oppo, OnePlus and Realme, will lead to the adoption of a new line of business within the group.

The company said the partnership is expected to enhance domestic value addition, create operational synergies and strengthen India’s position as a preferred destination for manufacturing-led growth.

Amber added that both companies will work closely to ensure a smooth ramp-up of operations and explore additional opportunities for future collaboration.

Ernst & Young acted as the exclusive financial advisor for the transaction, while AZB & Partners and Aekom Legal served as legal advisors. However, the financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
