Alvarion, a leading deployer of Wi-Max technology, has entered into a framework agreement with Norway’s fixed-mobile and converged telecom services provider Telenor Solutions, with an option for other Telenor subsidiaries and affiliates to purchase Wi-Max solutions using this framework agreement. Alvarion’s products are expected to facilitate the delivery of personal mobile broadband, business and residential broadband access, corporate VPNs, tollquality telephony, mobile base station feeding, hotspot coverage extension, community interconnection, public safety communications, and mobile voice and data.
