Aloke Malik has resigned from his post as chief operating officer of Idea Cellular?s eastern operations. He will be moving to ESPN STAR Sports as MD, ESPN Software India. He is an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, and has worked with companies like ITC, PepsiCo, Reliance Retail, Madura Garments and Idea Cellular over the past 23 years.
