Applied Materials, Inc. plans to combine two business units ? Energy and Environmental Solutions (EES) and Display ? under one leader.
To facilitate the same, the company has appointed Ali Salehpour as group vice-president and general manager, EES and Display. Salehpour has more than 25 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Applied Materials, Inc, he served as a senior vice- president, KLA-Tencor Corporation.
Mark Pinto, executive vice-president and general manager, EES, and Tom Edman, group vice-president and general manager Display, will quit Applied Materials, following the smooth leadership transition.
