Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise (ALE) has appointed Pierre Samson as vice-president (VP), sales, for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. Samson will assume his role with immediate effect, and will be based in Singapore. He will report to Matthieu Destot, executive VP, global sales and marketing, ALE. Samson has over 12 years of industry experience and has held senior leadership positions in various organisations. He was head of the unified communication and collaboration business unit for large accounts at Orange Business Services, and chief operating officer and chief sales officer at Lexsi, a cybersecurity firm, which was acquired by Orange in 2016.
