Alcatel-Lucent has signed a contract with South Korea’s SK Telecom to upgrade its optic fibre network.

Alcatel-Lucent has signed a contract with South Korea’s SK Telecom to upgrade its optic fibre network. The upgradation will provide increased bandwidth, needed by SK Telecom to support the expanding 3G W-CDMA and WiBro services. It will also enable SK Telecom to enhance its mobile traffic offerings.
