
Alcatel-Lucent has formed a joint venture (JV) with RCOM to offer managed network services to domestic as well as international telecom operators. The JV, which is two-thirds owned by AlcatelLucent, is targeting revenues of around $1 billion in the next few years. The JV will also manage RCOM’s CDMA and GSM networks under a seven-year deal valued at nearly $500 million.
Alcatel-Lucent will have operating management of the JV.
