Alcatel-Lucent has been selected to deploy a national data recovery service network for Indonesia’s fixed telephone service provider, PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia (PT Telkom).

Alcatel-Lucent has been selected to deploy a national data recovery service network for Indonesia’s fixed telephone service provider, PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia (PT Telkom). According to the terms of the deal, Alcatel-Lucent is providing its IP/MPLS solution, based on its 7750 and 7710 service routers and the 7450 Ethernet service switch, to connect 10 cities across the country. The data centres will be connected via one IP/MPLSbased network, enabling the service provider to manage its network operations more efficiently.
