Alcatel-Lucent has been awarded a two-year contract in collabo ation with Malaysian telecom and ICT solutions provider KUB Telekomunikasi (KUBTel) for supplying an IP-based fixed broad band access solution to Telekom Malaysia.

Alcatel-Lucent has been awarded a two-year contract in collaboration with Malaysian telecom and ICT solutions provider KUB Telekomunikasi (KUBTel) for supplying an IP-based fixed broadband access solution to Telekom Malaysia. Under the 6.5 million euro contract, Alcatel-Lucent will be responsible for network integration and maintenance, while KUBTel will install and commission the system, as well as provide nationwide technical support. Alcatel-Lucent’s broadband access solutions will enable Telekom Malaysia to deploy triple-play services and extend its nationwide coverage.
