Alcatel-Lucent has signed a collaborative agreement with the Nippon Telegraph and Telephone (NTT) Group for work on optical packet switching technologies. The agreement has been signed between Alcatel-Lucent’s Bell Labs research organisation and NTT’s Photonics Labs. The financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
