Airtel Payments Bank raises Rs 2.25 billion from Bharti Airtel, Bharti Enterprises

Airtel Payments Bank has raised around Rs 2.25 billion from Bharti Airtel and Bharti Enterprises, as per regulatory documents.

Under this, Bharti Airtel and Bharti Enterprises have infused Rs 1.80 billion and Rs 447.7 million, respectively, into Airtel Payments Bank.

As per industry sources, the investments have been made in the form of preference shares.
