Bharti Airtel has deployed an additional 5MHz spectrum in the 900MHz band in Jammu & Kashmir (J&K) to boost the indoor network experience of its customers and to enhance high-speed data services.

In this regard, Airtel has also deployed advanced network technologies and tools such as pre-5G Massive MIMO, 4G advanced, and carrier aggregation to step up high-speed network capacity and coverage.

The telco had also rolled out an additional 30MHz spectrum in J&K and Ladakh in the 1800 and 2300 bands to boost network capacity. According to the telco, the new spectrum deployment complements the recent spectrum rollout across J&K and Ladakh.

According to the telco, it has the largest spectrum bank at 71.2MHz in J&K and Ladakh with 40MHz in 2300MHz band, 25MHz in 1800MHz+2100MHz bands, and 6.2MHz in 900MHz band.
