Airtel Chad, an African subsidiary of Bharti Airtel introduces 3G services in Tchad

Airtel Chad, an African subsidiary of Bharti Airtel, has launched 3G services Tchad. The launch came after the telecom operator was granted a licence for high speed internet services by the Tchad government. With the introduction of 3G services, Tchad has become the 16^th 3G market out of the 17 markets of Airtel in Africa.

The company will also be starting the 3G services in Niger, the remaining African country with no such services, by the end of March 2015. It has already received a licence in Niger for the launch of the 3G services.
