Bharti Airtel has announced that it has become the first operator to offer seamless connectivity across the complete stretch of newly inaugurated North-South Corridor of Pune metro, spanning from PCMC to Swargate, including new stations Shivaji Nagar, District court, Kasba Peth, Mandai and Swargate.

The telco has upgraded significant number of sites along 17.4-kilometre (Km) route to enhance 5G capabilities. Furthermore, the company has deployed dedicated in-building solutions in metro stations for consistent coverage within 6 Km underground metro stretch. This will ensure that commuters can enjoy blazing 5G speeds, uninterrupted voice calls and data transmission allowing them to stay connected and productive throughout their travel.

With this new phase, Pune metro will now have a total stretch of 33 kms across the city with over 30 stations. In addition, Airtel is the only operator to ensure connectivity on the entire metro route in the city.
