Bharti Airtel has acquired Gaana. The music streaming platform was previously owned by Times Internet, the digital arm of Times Group.
Gaana was launched in April 2010 and has more than 180 million active monthly users. It includes a sizeable music library with over 45 million songs in a variety of languages, as well as podcasts in numerous genres.
Besides, Airtel has its own music streaming platform, Wynk Music.
