Weighed down by wafer thin margins and intense competition, Aircel is streamlining operations in at least five circles, starting with Madhya Pradesh, say news reports.
It is believed that the company has informed distributors in the Madhya Pradesh circle that it plans to restructure its entire business model and it may not require their services anymore.
Thereafter, it is believed that the operator will kick off a similar initiative in Gujarat and Haryana, followed by Rajasthan and Punjab.
The company has reportedly also given transfer orders to various staff personnel in the state.
