
Aircel has partnered with Snapdeal, NexGTV and Ingram to provide new data offers for its existing customers, in a move to increase the uptake of its data services.
Aircel has partnered with Snapdeal to sell its data packs online. These packs, branded as ?Paper Recharge?, would be available in two exclusive denomination packs – Rs 402 and Rs 602. These would be bundled with more benefits than the available market recharges. The company is looking to extend it to other e-commerce websites as well.
Further, Aircel has announced that its customers would be able to avail NextGTV’s live TV service at a discounted annual subscription for Rs 749 along with 1 GB Aircel data every month for 3 months.
The operator has also launched a mobile insurance service ?Aircel Cover Plus? in collaboration with mobile insurance provider, Ingram. Under this, any customer who buys a new smartphone can choose insurance coverage against accidental and liquid damages, within seven days of the purchase. Aircel has provided two variants of this service. For new smartphones worth up to Rs 10,000, customers can purchase Rs 499 pack that offers benefits worth Rs 1,200. This will also include 1 GB Aircel data for three months. With Rs 799 pack, it will offer insurance against smartphones worth up to Rs 55,000 and will include 1 GB Aircel data for three months and an anti-virus.
