In the latest hearing of the AGR case, the Supreme Court has directed the Department of Telecommunications to file details of spectrum shared by insolvent companies with other telcos. DoT has been asked to file details of dues that arose on account of shared spectrum, and also state if relevant dues have been paid.

During the course of the hearing, Bharti Airtel and Reliance Jio had informed the SC that they have not received any notice from the DoT regarding any additional AGR dues arising on the basis of their sharing and trading agreements with other telcos.

The apex court will next hear the case on August 24, 2020.It has directed DoT to provide the details of the companies that are using spectrum allocated since 1999, subject to sharing and trading agreements.
