Vodafone Idea Limited (VIL) has stated that its board has authorised the company to immediately pay Rs 25 billion, a portion of its adjusted gross revenue (AGR) dues to the Department of Telecommunications (DoT).
Further, the telco added that it will pay another tranche worth Rs 10 billion soon.
As per VIL, its board will take further stock of the situation to see how additional payments can be made.
VIL dues are worth over Rs 530 billion as per DoT estimates.
